The Premier League (EPL) Image taken from Wikipedia (2017)  The Premier League was formed on 20 February 1992 and is England's (men's) professional football (soccer) league. The league is made up of 20 clubs (which essentially act as shareholders); these clubs change every year through a system of promotion and relegation (top/bottom 3) with the English Football League (2nd div). The fixtures for the season see each club play 38 matches, where they play each club twice (once at home and once away). Teams receive 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss. Furthermore, teams are ranked by total points, with the highest-ranked club at the end of the season crowned the champion of the league. A total of 49 cubs have competed in the Premier League since its formation in 1992, however, only six clubs have won the title: Manchester United (13), Chelsea (5), Arsenal (3), Manchester City (2), Blackburn Rovers (1) and Leicester City (1). Manchester City 5-0 Crystal Palace

Image
Manchester City are well and truly the team to beat in the competition, and this match takes them into 1 st place on the English Premier League ladder having scored a whopping 16 goals without reply in the last 3 games. Their incredible finishing ability during the match was evident, yet again, despite leading goalscorer Sergio Aguero only netting once. Raheem Sterling scored twice, and a goal and two assists from young talent Leroy Sane secured the victory. Crystal Palace are now 6 games without a goal in the Premier Leauge, a new record that their supporters are not pleased with.  Ryan Jones References: http://the18.com/sites/default/files/u100010536/20171004-The18-Image-Leroy-Sane.jpg [1]
