Introduction of Soccer Rules - Part 1


First of all, I know there's a lot of people out there who never play soccer, don't know what's going on and understand nothing about soccer. It's OK, you're totally fine, ‘cause we are now here to inform you and renew the newest soccer news for y'all!! Stay tuned!!


First thing first, the basic but also the most important thing about a sport is: RULES! Resourcing from an ebook published by Soccer-for-Parents.com which educate people about soccer, and there are 10 simple soccer rules:

  • No Hands
Simplest rule and we all know that even if you don’t know about soccer. But there is an exception for goalies.

  • Equipment

According to FIFA Laws of the Game, the basic requirement for soccer are:
-          A jersey or shirt
-          Shorts
-          stockings
-          shin guards
-          footwear

The normal consequence of a foul is a direct kick for the opposing team. Punishment is given in soccer with yellow and red cards. Continue with the Introduction of Rule... Direct & indirect Free Kicks Direct and indirect kicks are two primary ways that play is restarted after the referee stops play for an infraction. In both situations, the ball must be stationary before it is kicked and the opposing players should be a minimum of 10 yards away. The 10-yard allowance is often reduced for the smaller age groups and is left up to the discretion of the referee.
